If the photo is taken from the corner of Hamilton Rd - which it looks like? -
then the church would be St John's. The church would have been about 25 years
old by 1915.

Photograph taken from junction of Hamilton Rd looking along Christchurch Rd. The
church is St Johns and the next right just past the tram is St Johns Rd.
The
church and the buildings beyond still stand.
