Although referred to as the Central Gardens i would refer to this as part of the
Lower Gardens which run from The Square to the pier.The Central Gardens run from
The Square to Queens Rd and the Upper Gardens run from Queens Rd to Coy Pond.

The buildings in the background no longer exist and ,on the lefthand side now
stands The Moon in the Square pub [ was Fortes ] and to the right of it
,Debenhams [ was Bobbies ].
